A fall group show, “One Foot at a Time,” will open at the C Gallery in Los Alamos on Nov. 19 with a reception for the artists from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Jan. 11. The title refers to the small-works-only eligibility rule, welcoming pieces of art in any media no larger that 12-by-12 inches, including the frame.

The body of work will include paintings, drawings, sculptures, 3-D assemblage pieces, burned wood designs, photography, and collage. One artist has created a series of comfort foods, while another, John Schnittker, has created a series of small sculptures of lines. Lori Wolf has submitted a series of aerial landscape paintings, while Sharon Tate has submitted portraits.

The public is welcome, and the reception is free. For more information, call 344-3807 or e-mail connie@thecgallery.com.
