The Wildling Art Museum in Los Olivos has selected 23 winning entries from its first-ever fall fine art competition. The Wildling Art Museum asked artists to submit their work around the theme āWhere Humans and Nature Intersect.ā
The 23 winning entries will be on display through Nov. 13 in the Goodall Education Center.
The top pieces are Nancy Davidsonās first-place Outpost, an oil painting; Patricia Hedrickās second-place Coastal Trail, an oil and pastel painting; and Robert Etlingās
third-place Amygdala, The Beast in Me, a sculpture.
The judges were Tony Askew, a professional artist whose work was recently exhibited at the Wildling Art Museum; Michael Drury, a professional artist and founding member of the Oak Group; and Stacey Otte, executive director of the Wildling.
Other artists whose works were selected for exhibition include Rebecca August, Katherine Beck, Kit Boise-Cossart, Jan Clouse, Nancy Davidson, Nancy Freeman, Kevin Gleason, Holli Harmon, Donna Moser, Carole Patton, Peg Quinn, Rebecca Stebbins, and Deborah Veldkamp.
