Be at Oak Park before 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 if you want to participate in one of the Santa Ynez Valley Family Fun Runs.
It’s the tail end of a summer series of 5K run/walk events. There were also runs in June and July. In addition to a 5K, there will be a 1-mile run for kids, a raffle, and music.
“It’s a great way to end the day with a healthy activity,” the Buellton Rec website said.
The cost is $10 for kids 12 years old and younger and $15 for everyone else.
