The exhibit will include some of Borein’s etchings, watercolors, and oil paintings from the private collections of Santa Ynez Valley residents as well as Santa Barbara museums and galleries. The artist settled in Santa Barbara, and used his art to document the fading culture of the West, from horseback riding to landscapes and animals.

An opening reception for the show is June 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum, 3596 Sagunto St., Santa Ynez. More information is available at 688-7889 or santaynezmuseum.org.
