The Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Association was named a recipient of four grants totaling $15,500 from the newly formed Santa Ynez Valley Hotel Association. The grant money will be used to promote association programs, including “Trails Week” June 4 to 12, featuring trail-based events; “Wine Around the Lake” on June 19, an afternoon of wine and food; “Vintages Week” Sept. 17 to 25, a promotional week of activities that fit the “vintages” theme, such as Los Alamos Old Days, vertical (vintage) flights at wineries, the Vintage Trailer reunion in Buellton, and an antique/thrift stores, museum, and historical sites map; and “Art Week” Nov. 12 to 20, which will promote the visual and cultural arts in the Santa Ynez Valley.
