The Artists Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley presents a free public art salon on March 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Elverhoj Museum of History and Art in Solvang. Art gallery owner Frank Goss will give a talk titled What’s the Deal with Art Galleries? and will speak on current buying habits, selling art on the Internet, and more.
Goss has been vice president of Sullivan Goss since 1994 and has a wealth of experience dealing with contemporary artists and artist estates. The program is organized by Santa Ynez Valley Arts, a committee assembled by the Artists Guild of Santa Ynez Valley that is dedicated to expanding and supporting access and exposure for local arts.
