The Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum is looking for artists to sign up for the Discovery Artists Program. The program needs a new artist for classes that run every Sunday, from February through April. The artists will teach kids ages 5 to 10 an art project at each session.
Artists have the option to sign up for one or multiple Sundays. Each artist will have access to the museum’s arts and crafts supplies. The program includes a stipend as well as a materials budget.
The program needs artists to teach on the following dates: Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26, and April 2, 9, 16, and 30. The museum prefers that artists be available to teach from noon to 4 p.m. More info: 928-8414 smvdiscoverymuseum.org.
