The 10th annual Painted Chair Raffle will be held at the Santa Maria Town Center, starting on Oct. 16 and running through Oct. 29. Local artists were asked to submit chairs, quilts, and other items based on either a book or a book genre, which will be raffled off during a drawing on Oct. 29 (tickets are $1 each or six for $5).
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Friends of the Santa Maria Public Library in the group’s mission to support the library’s programming and help with operational expenses. Visit fsmpl.org for more details.
