In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, the Santa Maria Public Library and Orcutt Branch Library will offer a limited number of holiday-themed craft projects for adults (ages 18 and over). The free crafting kits will be available for pickup at both libraries Monday, March 15, through Saturday, March 20. Pre-registration is required for kits at the Santa Maria location, while the Orcutt location will provide its kits on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each kit includes paint, glue, a wooden shamrock pin, and other materials, along with a complimentary list of fiction and nonfiction books from Irish and Irish American authors. Participants of the project are encouraged to post a photo of their final creation and tag the library on Facebook or Instagram (@santamaria_publiclibrary).
