The Santa Maria Public Library offers a PG-rated film screening on July 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s Shepard Hall. The film Bagdad Café relates the story of a couple whose car breaks down in front of the Bagdad Café, where they meet a series of quirky characters, including a Hollywood set designer played by Jack Palance.
