The Santa Maria Public Library hosts a series of story time events for a range of ages regularly for the following months. Super Squashed Preschool Story Time meets on Wednesdays through Dec. 10 at 12:30 p.m. for stories, songs, finger plays, and books on DVD for ages 3 to 5. Children must be signed up to participate.
A Drop-in Preschool Story Time is offered for kids ages 3 to 5 on Thursdays through Dec. 11 at 10:30 a.m. No sign-up necessary. An After School Story Time is for ages 6 and above on Tuesdays through Dec. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Sign-ups welcome, but not required.
