A Crimson Holiday, an annual pop-up studio in Santa Barbara’s La Cumbre Plaza, will be exhibiting works from more than 40 local artists through Wednesday, Jan. 15. The fine artwork and crafts on display are also available for purchase. Santa Maria-based artist Chris Boroquez will be showcasing his blown-glass works, which include salt and pepper shakers, marbles, and holiday ornaments (pictured below). Fabric works from Lompoc-based artist Diane Reese will also be on display, as well as quilted handbags and pouches from Nipomo residents and collaborators Margaret George and Barbara Burgo.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Extended holiday hours at the studio will be offered starting Saturday, Dec. 14.
