The city of Santa Maria will accept applications to serve on the Santa Barbara County Advisory Committee through April 26 at 5 p.m. The appointment will be made by the City Council on May 7.

The Santa Barbara County Library Advisory Committee includes nine members, who review and maintain the master plan for each county library service zone. They also make sure county libraries are receiving necessary funds and support while ensuring the libraries are meeting communities’ needs.
