Youth ages 6 to 15 can test their punting, passing, and place-kicking abilities—and have a shot at advancing to a regional competition—at the annual NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick Skills Competition on Sept. 15.
The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department, Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and Boys Girls Club of Santa Maria are sponsoring the free event, which takes place at the Hagerman Sports Complex, 3300 Skyway Dr., from 6 to 8 p.m. On-site registration will be held the day of the event. Awards will be given to top competitors, and local champions will advance to the Northern California Sectional competition.
