Baseball and softball players of all ages and skill levels can hone their craft at the Pitchout, a new facility in Santa Maria.

Located at 2305 A St. between Betteravia and McCoy, the facility includes indoor batting cages and a live pitching and hitting tunnel. It’s open Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

Rounds of 20 pitches cost $3 each—but are discounted for 10-round increments up to 50. Team rates are available by appointment at $40 for a half-hour or $60 for one hour. Private lessons cost $40 per half-hour lesson or $175 for five lessons. Packages for pitcher and hitter combinations are also available by appointment at $60 for a half-hour in a batting cage and the live tunnel.
