The Lompoc Pops Orchestra will be raising the curtain for its annual Christmas concert by offering two performances, one at 4:30 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5.

As a gift to the community, and special for the first time in its 14-year history, the Pops will be admitting all children 12 and younger free to either performance. The 4:30 concert, however, will be geared more toward children and will include a special appearance of a particular older gent who works overtime every Dec. 24.

The concert will be held at Lompoc’s First United Methodist Church, located at 925 North F St. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $5 for full-time students of all ages over 12, and free to children 12 and younger.
