Keep up with local concerts, Santa Maria City Council meetings, and other informative forums with an app that recently expanded accessibility to Santa Maria’s community television programs. Content from the city’s public, education, and government (PEG) channels is free of commercials and available to locals on their devices 24/7.

Residents can now download city of Santa Maria TV on their cellphone or television to browse three public TV channels. Look for the app on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.

“Santa Maria residents have more access than ever to important information from the city on government Channel 13, enriching and informative content on education Channel 24, and a connection to their community on public Channel 25,” PEG Production Manager Joe Payne said in a press release. “We are excited to expand access to Santa Maria Community Television at no extra cost to locals without a traditional cable subscription.”

Watch a short YouTube video about the new app on the city of Santa Maria’s channel and call Payne with questions at
(805) 925-0951, Ext. 2501.

The content is also available on Comcast cable Channels 23, 24, and 25. For a program guide and an online livestream of the channels, visit cityofsantamaria.org/tv.
