The seventh annual Santa Ynez Valley Artists’ Studio Tour will run from Nov. 18 to 20, allowing art patrons to tour the unique and private studios of 30 area artists. The tour kicks off on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a reception at the Wildling Art Museum in Los Olivos. The reception is a chance to get acquainted with all the artists, see examples of their work in the Barbara Goodall Gallery, enjoy local wines and beer from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company, and pick up the official event packet that includes a pass, map, and artists’ postcards.
In addition to opening their studio spaces, artists will have work for sale, with 20 percent of the proceeds going to support the Wildling Art Museum. Tickets are on sale now at wildlingmuseum.org; by phone at 686-8315; or at the front desk of the museum at 2928 San Marcos Ave. in downtown Los Olivos. Early bird tickets available through Nov. 13 are $25 per person or $40 per couple. From Nov. 14 to 20, tickets cost $30 per person or $50 per couple. Museum members receive a 10 percent discount.
