PCPA The Pacific Conservatory Theatre currently has a video in production, a recruitment video for the conservatory’s technical theater training program. But the nonprofit theater arts conservatory needs help completing the project, and is hoping to raise $3,000 through the crowdfunding sight rockethub.org.

A YouTube.com video titled “Rocket Hub Crowdfunding,” which was posted from PCPA’s profile, includes actor and Resident Artist Erik Stein, who is also the recruitment coordinator for the company. He gives a quick peek into the costume shop, the scene and props shop, the paint shop, the electrics and sound department, and the stage management and design studio.

“Pacific Conservatory Theatre’s technical theater training program may be one of the best kept secrets in American theater, and it’s time we share the secret,” he said in the video.

The company has used a video to promote the technical theater program in the past, but it’s in need of an update. The money raised through the campaign is for editing on the video project.

Those who would like to make tax-deductible donations to the project can find more information on rockethub.org or pcpa.org.
