PCPA Theaterfest is holding auditions for the youth role of Bert in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, at Columbia Business Center, 900 E. Stowell Road, in Santa Maria.
The role of Bert is a youth who looks to be 8 to 10 years old. Bert is a boy who lives in the neighborhood; he frequently visits the Kellers’ yard to play “jail” with Mr. Keller. He only appears twice in the play, though his presence is ultimately crucial for a revelation.
Young performers are asked to perform a 30- to 60-second poem of their choice, which must be memorized. No appointment is necessary. For more information, call 928-7731, Ext. 3100.
