PCPA students will present the culmination of two years of intensive actor and technical theater training in two productions this May. PCPA’s Conservatory Showcase will include The Musical of Musicals, The Musical! and The Penelopiad.

When one musical isn’t enough, there’s The Musical of Musicals, The Musical!, co-directed by Peter S. Hadres and Karin Hendricks with choreography by Aaron Lopez. And when one side of the story isn’t enough, there’s The Penelopiad, a retelling of the Odyssey through Penelope’s eyes. The Penelopiad is directed by Patricia M. Troxel.

Performances of The Musical of Musicals are May 13 and 15 at 7 p.m. Performances of The Penelopiad are May 14 at 7 p.m. and May 15 at 2 p.m. Both productions are presented in the Severson Theatre.

Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students, and children. Purchase a second show for 50 percent off. For more information, call 922-8313 or visit pcpa.org.
