The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) will hold auditions for two roles in the upcoming production of Shrek The Musical for boys and girls who are 10 years old. The characters of Young Fiona and Young Shrek each require a young actor who is comfortable singing by themselves in front of a large audience.
Auditions for the roles are held April 27. Rehearsals for the productions begin May 24, with technical rehearsals from June 14 through 22. The play runs June 22 through July 31 both in Santa Maria’s Marian Theatre and the Solvang Festival Theater. The roles will be double cast and actors will act in alternate performances.
Young performers won’t be called past 9 p.m. for regular rehearsals but may be called until 11 p.m. during technical rehearsals.
