PCPA Theaterfest resident artist and lead in the current production of The Tempest Andrew Philpot has been chosen to take part in an exclusive master class instructed by actor Alan Alda in July.

Since 2009, the Ten Chimneys Foundation has facilitated the Lunt Fontanne Fellowship Program, which selects just 10 of the nation’s top regional theater actors to work with a world-renowned ā€œmaster teacher.ā€ Along with nine others from across the country, Philpot will be working intimately with the award-winning actor.

Philpot has been an equity actor with PCPA since 2004 and teaches ā€œVoice and Speech IIā€ at the conservatory. He’s currently playing the role of Prospero in Shakespeare’s The Tempest at PCPA. More information is available at publicity@pcpa.org or 928-7731, Ext. 4100.
