The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) presents its production of The Sound of Music, which will debut at the Marian Theatre in Santa Maria on Thursday, June 30. Performances of the show will run through Sunday, July 31. This iteration of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical features Emily Trask as Maria Rainer, who is dispatched to serve as a governess for seven children of a widow, Captain von Trapp, played by George Walker.Ā 

Other cast members include Christen Celaya as Elsa von Schraeder, Andrew Philpot as Max Detweiler, Don Stewart as Herr Zeller, Garrett Haven as Baron Elberfeld, Lexi Rhoades as Mother Abbess, Erik Stein as Admiral von Schreiber, Brett Mollard as Franz, and Anna Magri-Moore as Frau Schmidt.

The roles of the von Trapp children are played by Sierra Anastasi, as Liesl, Nicolas Lo as Friedrich, Sophia Robertson, as Louisa, Joss Robertson as Brigitta, Alex Robertson as Kurt, Kiera McGehee as Marta, and Camila Papincak as Gretl.
