The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) plans to hold auditions Aug. 20 for young male performers for Disney’s Freaky Friday the Musical.

The theater seeks a boy to play Fletcher Blake; the character is about 10 years old. Auditions are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at PCPA’s rehearsal studios. Rehearsals for the play are scheduled for 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The character is not in every scene; the company will try to conclude rehearsals with young performers by 9 p.m.

PCPA rehearsal studios are located at 900 E. Stowell, Santa Maria, on the south side of the Columbia Business Center building, behind and just to the west of Costco. Those interested should email conservatory@pcpa.org and request the Freaky Friday audition material for Fletcher.
