The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) is extending its outreach tour thanks to a generous grant from The Moca Foundation, which will allow PCPA to extend the run of Thomas and the Library Lady. The story is based on the true story of author and educator Thomas Rivera who found his passion for reading and education at a Carnegie Library in Iowa with the help of a friendly librarian.
The production is available for school assemblies and other educational institutions. Bookings can be made for performances through May 2015. The play is appropriate for kids in kindergarten through eighth-grade. Thomas and the Library Lady is based on the book by Pat Mora and adapted for the stage by Jose Cruz Gonzalez.
More information is available through PCPAās Education and Outreach department at 928-7731, Ext. 3156, or pcpaoutreach@pcpa.org.
