Dolores, a documentary on activist Dolores Huerta, will screen at the Santa Maria Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. Admission to the screening, which is co-hosted by the Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA), is free. The screening will take place in Shepard Hall and will be immediately followed by a bilingualĀ  Q-and-A session regarding the film, led by PCPA guest artist Marilet Martinez.

At the age of 91, Huerta continues to fight for racial and labor justice. Huerta was an equal partner in co-founding the first farmworkers unions with Cesar Chavez. The documentary examines Huerta’s lifelong crusade for social change, according to a press release from PCPA.
