• Santa Barbara County Golf Championship: Entries are being accepted for the 36-hole championship tournament, held at the La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc Oct. 22 to 23. The tournament is open to amateur golfers 18 and older. The cost is $150 and includes green fees, a prize fund, and a barbecue. Carts are optional and cost $10 each day.
