• Allan Hancock College Summer Sports Camps: Baseball camp, open to boys ages 6 through 18, runs June 20 to 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $125 for one week, $225 for two weeks, and $75 for each additional family member. Football strength and conditioning camp is June 20 to 30 and July 11 to 21 from 9 to 10 a.m., open to boys ages 8 to 13 at a cost of $80 for eight sessions and $160 for 16 sessions. • Summer Day Camp: The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department will hold its Summer Day Camp for youth ages 6 to 12 June 20 through Aug. 12. Eight one-week sessions are at the Minami Community Center, 600 W. Enos Dr. in Santa

• Santa Maria Valley Youth Soccer: Late registration will be held June 18 and 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Minami Community Center, 600 W. Enos Dr. in Santa Maria. • Wine Country Bike Trek: This fundraiser for People Helping People lets riders sign up for three-day rides through the Santa Ynez Valley (June 24 through 26) or a one-day ride on June 25. Meals and wine will be provided, along with musical entertainment. For a three-day ride, a minimum of $350 in paid pledges is required for adults, and $175 for children 14 and younger. • Model Railroad Day: The San Luis Obispo Model Railroad Association (SLOMRA) will be displaying a wide variety of operating model trains on June 25 at the Santa Maria Library. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the library’s Shepard Hall and includes a  “Train Treasure” yard sale and a swap meet featuring model railroad items.
