The Town Center Gallery will host its next artist reception on Sept. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This month’s reception will include a silent auction. In addition, all of the contributing artists will introduce themselves and briefly speak about their background in the world of art, their medium, and other tidbits. Some of the artists will be giving demonstrations. See jewelry, painting, and other art on display, and enjoy light refreshments and beverages.
Town Center Gallery is a co-op art gallery that plans a monthly reception for the third Friday of every month with a Saturday open artist viewing in the patio area. It’s located at 321 Town Center West, suite B-6, Santa Maria (in the Mervyn’s Shopping Center, between Big 5 and Rite Aid Pharmacy).
Town Center Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. It’s closed Mondays. Art lessons are available. For more information, call the gallery at 349-7303.
