The Junior All-Star at Marshallia Ranch golf tournament came to a conclusion with no Central Coast athletes in the top spots, but with plenty of good rounds played.

Patrick Grimes of Palo Alto took his first ever American Junior Golf Association win with a tournament total of 2-over-par 118. Yueer Cindy Feng of Orlando, Fla., shot a 4-over-par 76 to win the girls division tournament title by two strokes.

Patrick-Reilly McMahon of Santa Maria was the top local player, coming in at No. 9 out of the field of 93 boys. The 54-hole tournament drew 93 boys and 27 girls, ages 12 to 15, from 13 states and Canada, with 87 of those golfers coming from California.
