Gallery Los Olivos presents Gratitude, a new solo exhibition showcasing local painter Marcia Burtt, which debuts on Monday, Nov. 1, and is scheduled to remain on display through Tuesday, Nov. 30. Burtt titled the exhibit Gratitude in conjunction with its theme of ā€œgiving thanks for decades of painting in our regional open spaces.ā€

Most well known for her local landscapes, Burtt has been an avid plein air painter for about 40 years. Her art has been featured in exhibits in multiple countries over her career, as well as several magazines and art books. Burtt is a founding member of SCAPE (Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment) and one of the original members of the Oak Group. Both of these artist groups are dedicated to raising money to protect and preserve local open spaces.
