The Lompoc Valley Arts Council is holding a public meeting, which includes an informational session regarding the Lompoc Theater Project. The council, which meets Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. for a business meeting, will include a community update on the project at 7 p.m. at Stone Pine Hall, 210 South H St., Lompoc.

The Lompoc Theater Project mission is to restore and reopen the historic downtown theater, built in 1927. The group of volunteers is coordinating with the city of Lompoc and local business to preserve and enhance the historical venue. The Lompoc Valley Arts Council invites all to come learn about the community project.
