The Los Padres Artist Guild is preparing for its upcoming Christmas Show with the theme “The Colors of Christmas.” The show is the 38th annual holiday show for the guild and will feature media, including jewelry, paintings, ceramics, photography, woodwork, holiday quilts, and other craft items. Several members of the Silk Painters International (SPIN) will be showing their works, including Tina Porter, Jill Targer, Claudia Wagman, and Cathy Arduna.
The show will also include raffle drawings and art demonstrations, with proceeds going to the guild’s student scholarship program. The event is scheduled for Nov. 8 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakeview Junior High School, 3700 Orcutt Road, Orcutt.
