With the recent switch to standard time, the city of Santa Maria returned Los Flores Ranch Park to its regular hours of operation.
The park will now be open Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entry
at 4 p.m.
Guided nature walks will continue on the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon. Beginning in February 2012, the walks will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Walkers are to meet at the visitor center off of Dominion Road and are encouraged to bring comfortable hiking shoes, water, a camera, and binoculars.
