The Lompoc Concert Association will present “INTERSECTION” in concert on April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 925 N. F St. in Lompoc.

Violinist Laura Frautschi, cellist Kristina Reiko Cooper, and pianist John Novacek formed INTERSECTION in 1998. The group’s numerous recordings have been best-sellers in Asia and have topped the classical and crossover charts.

A typical evening with INTERSECTION may center on a Ravel, Dvorák, or Brahms trio, but a Hungarian thread may send the group into a sequence of Gypsy tunes. Various solos and duos add to the variety.

Tickets, available at the door, cost $25 for adults and $10 for students. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Discounted 2010-2011 season memberships are available with the purchase of a single admission ticket. Visit lompocconcert.org to hear a sample of INTERSECTION’S music. For more information, call 735-1408.
