The Vapor Trail Vettes are holding a low-speed autocross event on March 26 at the Allan Hancock College campus in Lompoc.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. All makes and models of cars are welcome.
Registration forms can be downloaded from the Vapor Trail Vettes website at vaportrailvettes.com. Costs run from $40 to $60, contingent on time of registration and membership in the National Council of Corvette Clubs. The Vapor Trail Vettes will be donating a $500 scholarship to a student of the Hancock College Automotive Technology Program.
Registration and tech inspections will run from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed by a mandatory drivers’ meeting at 9:30 a.m. All registered cars must be at the gate no later than 9 a.m., with the first car out at 9:45 a.m. The campus is located at 1 Hancock Drive in Lompoc.
