The Lompoc Valley Arts Council holds its regular quarterly forum on July 21. The forum includes a special presentation by local singer Sarah Raines. Raines, a classical singer from Lompoc, will speak on her career as a musician and entrepreneur.
Raines sings soprano with Santa Barbara’s Quire of Voyces and performed as part of the Lompoc Civic Theater’s production of Nunsense. The singer will speak and share about her experiences and outlook on how to navigate a professional career as a performing artist.
The featured presentation begins at 7 p.m. and is preceded by a business session of the Arts Council at 6 p.m., with a social break at 6:45 p.m. at the Stone Pine Hall, 210 South H St., Lompoc. More info: 294-3225.
