Lompoc Chalks 2019, an annual festival organized by the Lompoc Theatre Project, will take place on Oct. 11, 12, and 13 in Old Town Lompoc, occupying the two public parking lots located between Cypress Avenue and I Street. The event features live entertainment, food trucks, artisan vendors, hayrides, mural tours, a beer and wine garden, and more.
Children can reserve their own squares to draw with chalk on for $12, which also includes a box of chalk. Larger squares for adults to reserve are available for $150. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Lompoc Theatre Project’s mission to restore and reopen the historic Lompoc Theatre. Donations are welcome and are tax deductible (donors are asked to consult their tax advisor or IRS publications for details).
