The Lompoc Civic Theatre is gearing up for the first show of its 2015 season, I’ll Be Back Before Midnight, which runs for three weeks beginning Feb. 20. The comedic thriller by Peter Colley is one of the most widely produced stage plays in Canadian history and is known for its exciting use of special effects.
Longtime Lompoc Civic Theatre volunteer Paul Thornton is directing the madcap story, which calls on only four actors. Returning LCT actors include Christopher Ford, Nikki Stark, Scott Swisher, and Jesslyn Brundy. A score of volunteers will also help with the plethora of backstage effects necessary to make the play magical.
I’ll Be Back Before Midnight runs on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium, 217 S. L St., Lompoc. Cost is $10, $12 at the door. More information is available lbee.com/LCT/Welcome.html.
