The Lompoc Recreation Division announced the three films that will be screened during the annual Free Movies in the Park event, which begins on Saturday, June 8, with a screening of Mary Poppins Returns. The series continues with Bumblebee on Saturday, July 13, and concludes with How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World on Friday, Aug. 2. Each film will be screened on a giant inflatable screen at Ryon Memorial Park in Lompoc.
Screenings will start at dusk (around 8 p.m.), and families are encouraged to bring low-back chairs, blankets, and snacks. Some food options will also be available for purchase at the event. No pets are allowed, and no smoking or alcohol consumption will be permitted.
