Explore the photography of Renee D. Miranda at an exhibit at the Shear Delight Salon, 1137 North H St., in Lompoc. The images will be displayed Sept. 1 through 30. A reception for the artist and a celebration of the salon will be held on Sept. 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Miranda has been a member of the Lompoc Photographer’s Guild (LPG) since it’s inception in 2008. She is mainly self-taught but has taken a few classes at Allan Hancock College with instructor Dibble Hoyt. She has participated in several shows, including the most recent Best of LPG at the Grossman Gallery. Featured works at the salon will include engaging portraits as well as landscapes. Miranda likes to focus her portrait work on interesting people, especially those with tattoos, piercing or just their own unique style.
