For swimmers interested in playing or learning water polo, One-Way Water Polo is holding scrimmages at the Paul Nelson Aquatic Center each Sunday throughout the fall.
Masters scrimmages will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by Youth Water Polo classes from 10 a.m. to noon.
The youth program is open to all area boys and girls ages 7 and up, and no experience is necessary to start. Water polo instruction will be provided by local high school and USA Water Polo coaches. The first several visits are free.
The Paul Nelson Aquatic Center is located at 600 S. McClelland St. in Santa Maria.
