Support Santa Maria’s youth dancers as they perform a variety of styles they’ve been hard at work perfecting. The recital will be held at Santa Maria High School inside the Ethel Pope Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. on June 5 and 2:30 p.m. on June 6.
Guest performers and Klein Dance Arts students have prepared ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and Latin routines. Irene Kleinbauer of the studio said her staff and students are excited to perform for the community.
“What I enjoy most about having a dance studio is having the honor of witnessing students’ growth and confidence build while instilling a love for the arts,” Kleinbauer said in an email to the Sun.
Klein Dance Arts has two studio locations in Santa Maria: 1954 S. Broadway, suite J, and 325 E. Betteravia Road, suite B-4. Classes serve adults and children as young as 2 years old at the recreational and competitive levels. The first class is free.
