Santa Maria High School senior basketball players will be looking for revenge when they take on the Santa Maria Police Department in the 11th annual āKids vs. Kopsā game on May 7.
The high schoolers will be led by All-Los Padres League Honorable Mention Kevin Lindgren and graduating players from the boysā and girlsā basketball teams. Last year, the SMPD scored their first-ever victory in the series. The police prevailed by a score of 85-80, led by officers Chris Nartatez and Sylvester Swain.
This yearās contest will be held in Santa Maria Highās Wilson Gym at 7 p.m. General admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
