The Santa Maria Noontime Kiwanis club is inviting all local brainiacs and nerds to the 16th annual Trivia Challenge at the Abel Maldonado Youth Center on Feb. 26.

Teams of four are encouraged to register for the free event, held as a benefit for VTC Enterprises.

The contest will feature two divisions—high school teams and adult teams—and teams will combine their knowledge in an attempt to answer a series of questions crafted by ā€œMr. Trivia,ā€ Don Brister, who created the contest. Trivia categories cover questions about history, science, sports, the arts, and everything in between. All competitors will also be treated to refreshments and the chance to win door prizes.

The registration deadline is Feb. 17.

To register or find out more, download the registration form from the Kiwanis website at santamariakiwanis.org or e-mail Suzanne Levy at slevy93455@gmail.com.
