The Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez presents country a cappella group Home Free live in concert on Friday, Sept. 16. Currently traveling from venue to venue as part of its national tour, the group is widely known for its success on the fourth season of NBC’s The Sing-Off.Ā

Home Free won the $100,000 grand prize, along with a special record deal with Sony, during The Sing-Off. The band competed in the show in 2013. In 2014, the group released its first major label album, Crazy Life. Home Free released another album, Full of Cheer, in 2016.

The group’s five a cappella singers are Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. In 2020, the band teamed up with Lee Greenwood on an a cappella version of Greenwood’s song, ā€œGod Bless the U.S.A.ā€ The members of Home Free have also collaborated with Kenny Rogers, the Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, and other acts over the years.

Country singer and fiddler Maggie Baugh will join Home Free on stage during the group’s Chumash Casino concert, which will be held in the venue’s Samala Showroom. Baugh has played alongside Luke Bryan, Trace Adkins, and other artists during her music career.
