On Sept. 27, the Guadalupe Dunes Center, in conjunction with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will be host to a refuge hike to Lunar Craters in the Oceano Dunes.
The scenic five-mile hike adventures to normally inaccessible parts of the dunes. The hike will require difficult exertion with steep inclines in the sand.
The group will depart from the Oso Flaco Lake road entrance at 9:30 a.m. Come prepared with sun block, water, snacks, and a hat.
