Approved by the county in 2007, Orcutt’s community swimming and recreation facility will soon become a reality, and the public is invited to get involved in the fund-
raising process to help finalize the Aquacenter’s permit process, begin on-site improvements, and build the 16,500-square-foot Orcutt Community Building. The facility will serve the Orcutt and Santa Maria Valley community.

To help raise money, a Fall Harvest Winemaker Dinner will be held on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. at Trattoria Uliveto in Orcutt. Dinner tickets cost $75 each and CORE wines will be served. Members of the community are also encouraged to sign up for a $100 Aquacenter annual membership and to volunteer their time or in-kind services.

All contributions to the Aquacenter are tax-deductible and can be made to: Orcutt Aquacenter, Inc., P.O. Box 2580, Orcutt, CA 93457-2580.
