Singing auditions for children for the seventh annual Central Coast Follies benefit Love is in the Air will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on May 31 at the Clark Center Studio Theater in Arroyo Grande.
Love is in the Air, directed by Jason Sumabat with help from Kalleen Corley, will benefit Parkinsonās disease research.
Children 12 and younger are encouraged to audition. Hopefuls should prepare one minute of an up-tempo song that has something to do with love or the ups and downs of relationships. Bring sheet music. An audition pianist will be available. Auditions for non-singing roles for children will be held later in the year.
Performance dates are Oct. 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 3 and 4 at 2 p.m. at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande. For more information, call Assistant Director Dixie Parker at 474-1525 or e-mail dixiep@sbcglobal.net.
